Hi! I'm Meredith, I bought the shop in 2015. Let me tell you how it all began;
In 1993 a mother and son had a vision of bringing a self service dog wash to the dirty puppies of Kansas City. It has changed hands a few times over the years but that "mom and pop" feel has never changed. In 2015 I lost my father to cancer and needed a change from the corporate world. I was already using the dog wash for my personal dogs as well as my foster dogs so taking over the shop was a quick decision. After several months of ownership I saw a need for full service grooming as well as walk in nail trims. I am coming up on 9 years of ownership and absolutely loves the Kansas City dog community!
SERVICES
We have 2 full time groomers on staff. Our services range from a walk-in nail trim to a drop off full service grooming by appointment. We are excited to offer cat grooming as well. Contact us for full service groom pricing or click here for our walk-in services.
Self Wash
We have six elevated self service wash stations that are available on a walk-in basis. We provide shampoo, towels, brushes, and blowdryers as well as a leave-in conditioner and cologne for after the bath. We have stairs to help get the dogs up into the tubs and leads to keep them there during the bath.
Pricing goes by the weight of the dog and ranges from $11 to $18.
Retail
Continuing with the "mom and pop" feel, we are a proud supporter of other local small businesses here in Kansas City. We offer a variety of products from dog treats, collars and bandana's.
